Steven: You are absolutely correct. That is a darn good looking bike and no doubt worth $600. I just love the early version SLX fork. I saw one like this on a Legnano that was full C-Record. But no doubt Somec is a very darn good builderas well. I don't know if they still sponsor the "Campy Only" site, and I have heard nothing but raves from people who own them. Maybe Somec like Faggin came to the party late, and no one outside of Italy thought they were any good. Just some thoughts. cheers, Dave Anderson Cut Bank MT

It is a great bike and at least in Italy is regarded as being a top end bike. The bike appears to be unused. The vendor says that it is about 15 years old, but I would guess maybe even older (likely about the cut-off date for on topic here)

Take a look at the bike: http://ebay.com/<blah>

You'll see that it is mostly Super Record equipment. The shifters are DT aero-mounted with internal wiring. The rear gear cable passes through the chain stay and comes out right at the drop-out (beautiful to look at). It also has the custom white leather-wrapped patographed bars and stems. It has further pantographing on the brake levers. Lastly, it has the nice looking Assos saddle and rims.

I have no relation to the vendor but feel that this bike should be drawing more attention.
