On German Ebay there is an odd bicycle being sold.

The vendor claims the frame to be from the 50's. The complete translated description is:

Cafe Racer with wood rims 1950's Aluminium frame made by Kettler. Wood tubular rims, laced to a Sachs 3-speed hub gear in the back and front Campagnolo hub. Special edition Gipiemme chainset, issued in conjunction with the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic games. Shimano 600 Headset. 3TTT stem and bars. Clement tubulars. The complete bike weighs less than 10 Kilo. All parts other than the frame are from the 80's. The wood rims were then the 'dernier cri' and still appear as new (see photo). The wood rims are however not ideally suited for rim brakes, firstly because the brake blocks wear out very quickly and secondly because you get unsightly black streaks on the rims. The bike is therefore presently only equipped with the coaster brake of the 3-speed hub gear. The Shimano 105 front brake caliper, brake lever and missing headlight will of course be delivered with the bike. Disk or drum brakes would be ideal.
