seriously though-one of my only pet peeves about this list is the routine posting of ebay auctions by 3rd party listees who feel like they are helping their brethren by pointing out information that is already available for all to see. i expect disagreement. i don't mind the discussions nor do i mind the outings once an auction has ended. flame me off-list. i can take it. e-RICHIE"

I am not a big seller or buyer on Ebay, but I find the outing of interesting items to be if not useful, oftimes educational. In many cases the only photos of an item on the web are the ones posted by sellers on Ebay. Some of these items I would never have come across without the outing, and some of these outings have grown into excellent discussions of the items and tangents off them.

By the way, I looooved the Sinatra cover art!

Oh and might that mystery seatpost with the small milling grooves perhaps be a Zeus? I seem to recall a similar looking piece from them back in the 70s.

And while were on the topic of reggiselli, has anyone ever broken a seatpost? I've never seen one fail except for cheap ones with a bonded aka glued head. I only leave about 40mm of post in my seat tube on my "off topic" bike and it has seen hard use for years with no problems.
