Let's see if I can get this all straight (it gets a little confusing)...

Andy won Alp d'Huez in '92 on an Motorola Merckx Reynolds 753 tubed bike with Columbus decals on it. He bought an American Flyer ti frame with his own money in '93 and later in '93 Eddy was getting specially spec'd titanium Litespeeds labeled as Motorola Merckx for the team. Alexi Grewal rode Clark-Kent frames.

A friend just bought Freddy Maerten's Flandria that he won the Worlds on in 1976. It is a De Rosa. Freddy paid for the De Rosa and had it painted like a Flandria.

(I think I got this all straight; correct me if I'm wrong...)
