E-Richie stated: "the current issue of The Robb Report exposes the Cannondale Custom. it says it's "Hand Made in the U.S.A." and the text uses words like, "...the hand-building process...", and, "Craftsmen then finish the unique frame with..." the price-$12,000.

I pointed out that the custom frame price is $1899 including fork, making it unlikely that 12K was a realistic price, even for a other the top fancy build kit.

Off list, E-Richie further clarified: "The price charged includes the bicycle, round trip first class travel to bedford for the pick up, a factory tour with the ceo, and a signed-by-the-team saeco outfit. we're talking the 'experience' here, not the 'bicycle'."

I wonder, Cannondale's corporate head quarters are in CT, so just how many grassy knolls are there between Chester and Bethel?
