Uh, actually, Richie, they *did* make a few price-point bikes in the mid-80s (I think it was mid-80s anyway). Before that, no, Colnago made no price-point bikes.

the ones I'm familiar with are: the Colnago Victory; Colnago International; and the Sport (one of which was recently on ebay).

the frames all look something like the Super, but have a different seat-cluster, and lower-line parts. Maybe they used different tubing too. Seems likely.

the international had mostly Ofmega and Modolo stuff, with Ernesto's signature all over.

the Victory was equipped with the Campagnolo Victory group (someone correct me if I have any of this wrong, please ;> )

The Sport (which may still be available to see on ebay), is one I hadn't heard of 'till recently. Looks to have been similar to the Victory.
