Every first Sunday at Sarah's Old Town Cyclery, on the Sante Fe Trail in Lenexa Kansas, @ 8am the VCC of KC meets for breakfast, a ride, and a mini-swap of whatever members want to bring.
Last month's ride (you may remember from Tom Adams' comprehensive report) saw a respectable turnout of classic steel. Breakfast and the mini-swap was was canceled to accomidate combination with the annual BBQ ride. ( I certainly could have used an early carb glut...but it didn't hurt me to burn off a few rashers of winter girth!)
I'm looking for a tall ( 7" quill or more )aluminum alloy stem to finish my 72 Raleigh International. GB would be ideal but I'd be delighted with anything tall and good looking of that vintage. Bring it and maybe I'll have something acceptable for trade, if not meet your price.
