Subject: [CR]1963 Mondia (modial serial number sequences)

I have what is a 1963 Mondia SUPER based on the campy hub lock nuts, serial number 96339(cool only 5digits). It has a 1962 Brooks B 17 Competition Standard width saddle. It has a red smoke fade with chrome nervex headlugs, crown, stays, fork ends. It has nice tapered wrap around pyramid seat stay caps(tapered square cross section plugs). It has a brazed on mounted pulley for the rear BB guide, and the cable housing stop Campy Front derailleurs, braze on Campy shift levers, there are no clamps on the frame besides the Campy Umbrella pump holder. It has some nice decals like a globe with qualite garantie and a swiss letter Mondia Schutzmarke decal. Of course it has Mafac Dural Forge marked Racers, which I believe was there choice of CP when supplies were not limited prior to the boom years. Why not start a data base of Serial numbers by everyone submitting the data for all there significant bikes to a central person who can then compile a spread sheet for each brand sorted by serial number or estimate year of build.
