A question to the frame builders on the list. I have a Crescent Pepita Special frame with 531 tubes and Nervex Pro lugs. The frame is in an awful rusty state and from the worst of Crescents toe clip overlap years. In short - It is a crappy frame (trust me - my plan is nothing to get upset about)!
1. Can I saw off the frame at some points, heat the lug joints and get the tubing out of the lugs? 2. Can the lugs be reused for a new frame? 3. With the strange frame angels of the Crescent PS - Can the lugs be "tweaked" to other more suitable angels?
