Dear CR list,

Can anyone provide any insight on this cute French tandem? It is sized to fit 10 year old children.

With respect to the Fuji Finest, Michael Murphy wrote:

"The Ukai rims on this bike were plastic filled. I know of no other plastic filled rims. I still ride my Weimann wood filled rims as do several of my friends. Never had any problems with either."

While in Providence, where I first saw the Finest, I also did a lot of cross-country skiing. Wax removal worked well with a "little" heat from a propane torch. I tried this with sew-up glue, and it worked great. Until, one fine day about 73 in Oregon, tried this with my friend's rim. The foam-filled Ukai got very sick very quick, so I learned about plastic-filled rims that way... Did wonders for my reputation as the new expert in town...
