I checked the related thread I saved from May/June 2002, but did not find an answer to my question.
H. Lloyd's instructions warn that using the wrong varnish can destroy the transfer.
Is there any problem if I paint (probably Imron), apply transfers (no varnish) & allow to dry, then apply clearcoat. I assume the varnish is to protect a transfer that will not be clearcoated.
My painter is a local shop owner who has experience w/ bicycle painting & decals. We were just concerned because of Lloyd's warnings.
