Way-assauto is not a half-baked babelfish translation attempt. As any collector of vintage Italian bikes worth their stuff knows, Way-Assauto is a real brand of pedals. They are very nice and readily competed with Sheffield for supremacy in the Italian market. For those that have purchased Chuck's Emilio Bozzi catalog reprint, you can see 4 Way-Asauto pedal models on page 147 and another 3 (including the racing model) on page 148, plus a Legnano branded version on page 287.
