My stash is quickly growing - despite living in a two-bedroom highrise apartment. I have convinced my wife that my refound interest in bikes is a substitute for my other passion - gardening - which I can no longer do while we live in our current place (mind you fixing bikes is also something of a challenge - I have to occasionally rely on the kind services of other Ottawa CR listers - David Bilenkey and Rodd Heino). She is very supportive of my need for such a distraction from thesis writing. I also remind her of the whole closets she has full of sewing machines, fabric, wool, etc. - some of which has been moved at least 8 times since we have been married (almost 16 years) 8^) When I recently went trolling on the CR and the iBOB lists for a new project or two - she asked which one are you going to take - I answered don't you mean which ones - she did give me that look! Of course, things are going to get even more cosy with the arrival of our first child in August 8^).
