The Dell Buyers Guide I referenced last night also came from NY influence. After an opening chapter on the history of the bicycle, there's an intro and bio on their expert who reviewed the pro bicycles. Cliff Wiedberg went on to head some wholesalers in the city. There are amusing reports on 'two failures' and they chronicle the Lambert and the Original Plastic bike - the 20lb wonder machine that was not.
