I would like to learn more about a specific bicycle, the 1914 BSA Path Racer.

I have a BSA product catalogue and the 48 page soft cover book details the top end model named The Path Racer. The Path Racer bicycle has a time trial style frame ( 1" tubing with 3" drop), 1/2 inch chain pitch rated for 2000 lbs with each link stamped with the BSA Cross Arms Logo, 26" wheel diameter with oil retaining dust proof BSA Hubs, BSA disc adjusting crank bracket and chain wheel, BSA back fork ends with a cam chain tension adjuster, and uniquely a "quick release fork end option (which eliminates the need to remove chain to remove the wheel),

Was 1914 the first year for the "disc adjusting crank bracket" feature? Was the model a winner at the races? Where do I go to see one in a museum? Does anyone have one stashed away? What is the value of a Path racer today?
