How many different parts did he make? I recall seeing the pedals advertised in Bicycling mag. IIRC, he machined his name into the cages. Nice pedals, and they went on to further fame when SunTour picked up the design and created the Superbe and XC pedals that I love so much. (I'm assuming that SunTour actually paid for use of the design...)

Speaking of small designers who've had some success, when did Kingsberry/American Classic get started? Is the AC seatpost within the CR timeline?
