Don't be put off by the crazed fixed gear talk from Brian and John P., the Don of the Brooklyn Vintage Velodrome Wheelmen family, there's going to be plenty of derailer bikes being ridden.
I just wanted to let those old & slow shiftless riders know that there's going to be room for them (off the back, where I ride ;^). I didn't do the Saturday ride last year due to rain, but the 2001 ride was a bit of a hammer.
Also with the Cirque being three days now, there's time to do some impromptu rides, such as the dawn patrol.
I'm working on the Cirque nametags, I'll leave room for a large red "F" on the side...
