Just a message to say thanks to those who responed to this offer! As soon as these brakesets are received we will get back to the interested parties..........It may be a few weeks or so, mostly due to the weather conditions of where these stocks are now standing.
Also I'd like to say thanks to a former member or perhaps a silant member of this group who made the conection for us for these brakesets...........For the respect of his privatecy I will not use his name but I will call him the big ''K''!.......One way or another this person has a lot to do with helping with the comeback of Renaissace cycles after the fire by suppling us with some of his resources here in Europe! Yes he is European but now lives within the U.S!
Some of these road trips I have gone on to follow up on some of these leads are truely amazing! Hey BC!............You need to get up to this place before these guys grab all of the good stuff! OK, 3 days later I''m off to a place I know nothing of but there is old bike stuff there! My other half Cecile makes all of the travel arrangements and I'm gone! Destination I only know the Country and the contact name! Once I arrive at the airport! Geeze I don't even know the name of the Village or city!................I land and proceed, get tossed a few questions @ me, like where are you going ''CITY or VILLAGE!''?? I say to tell you the truth I don't know! All I know is the name of the person who will be picking me up @ the airport!...............OK you are holding a U.S PASSPORT, you may proceed!.............Meet the contact @ the front door!............Are you so and so! She says no he's back at the shop!............But that's my boyfriend standing by the car!..........Ok! Hi my name is so and so!!..................Hey I know you, your so and so from so and so!! Yeh! How do you know that! I used to hang at the shop where you used to go!........Yeh right! 20 PLUS YEARS LATER! WOW,.........I''m off to a good start!..Half way around the world we hook up once again! So off to the shop to meet my contact..........then off to the bar for a few tall ones! After that! Hey! Here.........you have the keys to the place for the weekend, have some fun! Geeze ok!...............So I'm off to play in a big toy store!!.............Just another day at the office!
