Steven,

That is too cool! Looks like great fun. Speaking of conversions, the other day I was perusing a reproduction of a 1909 book of mechanical devices. In it, there is a drawing of a bicycle conversion for carrying a child or groceries - it was constructed using a regular bike but extending the rear axle out to one side and adding a third wheel. The carrier sat on top of this axle. There did not appear to be any other support - I can't imagine that it was very practical. Mind you in the same publication there was a picture of a steam-powered trike. Maybe that would be the ultimate use for that Rene Herse at $6,000, Brian ;^)
