Subject: [CR]Sorry you'releaving the CR list

Ken --- I am sorry to see you leaving the CR list. I believe that your observation about those hubs was right on. One of the functions of the CR list is to help each other findclassic stuff for their bikes or their display cases. The fact of the mis-matched hole drilling is relevant to those of us who might want such a pair of hubs and not have excercised diligence in scrutinizing the photos or questioning the seller. The seller who doesn't want his stuff discussed among friends or fellow enthusiasts shouldn't list it for sale. I noted that this particular seller didn't dispute the accuracy of your observation, only snarled at you for making your observation public. This attitude is in sharp contrast to the spirit of many list members, who willingly sell "cheap" or even give away stuff needed by others. Thank you for sharing your observation on the list. --- David Faulkner in Sacramento, CA
