I couldn't agree more. One of the reason I prefer a hand-made frame is that production frames rarely offer the performance, because not enough care was taken when building them. Witness all the bikes coming out of Taiwan now where the two wheels are not in a plane. When catching up on them from behind, it is totally obvious that they are crab-tracking down the road. They all are off the same way, probably all came from the same factory!
