Can anyone on the list identify this frame:

A few years back, Jeff Linder, who is probably known to a few people on CR, gave this to one of my workmates. Jeff was apparently a bit vague about the frames origins, other than that it was a frame he had raced years ago. The downtube is decalled "Team McCall" in black, and the LH chainstay: "Ideal Bicycle Painting" in red. Seat tube: 60.5cm, toptube 57cm. The fork has Ishiwata 019 tubing decals, and the blades are a beefy aero section. Ishiwata offered a similar fork in their catalog about 1983. The seat lug appears to be an investment casting. Bottom bracket shell is stamped. Seatpost dia= 26.8mm Chainstays are formed into a diamond cross section similar to De Rosa. Rear dropouts are Shimano EF. The frame weighs less than 2kg.
