Maressis are my favorite shoes. I would describe them as actually kind of wide in the front with a SLIGHTLY narrower heel (I wear a D to E width). They also have a roomy toe box. There is a pronounced arch and a curve in the sole that puts your foot in a position like you are walking on your toes, that really works for me. The curve DOES make it a little work to bolt on look cleats. I have a few pair of spare NOS shoes, sizes 44.5 and 45, in white (sorry no black) available for $50 pair. The white is nice on a hot day.
