I find myself wishing that I knew a little more about how-to adjust and setup the type of rear derailleur that Scott used on his quite striking restoration (nice job btw Scott: I didn't realize how classy a Schwinn Varsity could be).

I have a Simplex der somewhat older then this, and a couple of vintage Cyclo's that appear to be quite similar, that are going on Raleigh project bikes ...and I find myself guessing as to how to adjust the things.

How do these work? Any caveats, or suggestions for improvement? I'd really appreciate some pointers ...TIA.
