This is how we should be relating to each other on the CR list. Ask for help --- give a little help. Somebody in Santa Rosa or Petaluma or environs help David get his bike! Generosity is one of the great human virtues.
Opinionated egotism is one of our ugliest faults. The list's acrimonious public bickering is tiresome and even repugnant. About like being ring-side at a farting contest.
