Eek, I never had a high dollar enough bike during the CR era period that I was able to select anything truly fancy wheel wise. I kinda took what was came on the bikes I had.

I'm trying to figure out what clincher rim would be a nice, not obviously too new, match for the Montelatici. The Monte is a 60s Italian bike that will be built up with early 80s NR componentry.

I've got 36 hole hubs that I'm running at 126 spacing for the rear

My silver colored box constructed option is: Mavic MA3 in silver, 20.2mm wide

I've got 2 options in aero rims: Campy Omega 19 in silver, 19.0mm wide Mavic open pro SUP SBP in silver, 19.6mm wide

I'm very comfortable with the MA3s, but I have had good luck with Campy rims on my mountain bike. I know its not topic, but I trained and raced on my Campy Contax rims for two seasons, (10 years ago!) and I'm still using both pairs on MTBs. I don't know if the Campy Omegas are as tough or not.

Whats the general opinion about my three options?
