Their sizing is pretty accurate in the guide. I've never worn an XL before, but I recently purchased an XL wool jersey from vintagevelos and after washing it fits perfect (I'm 185lbs, 6 ft, 43 chest). Fits well, but not too roomy by any stretch. The first washing will let the wool "breath" and it breaths in the direction of smaller, not bigger. If in doubt, I'd choose the larger size.

A great product by the way! I think well worth the money.
