Subject: [CR]3RENSHO: how rare, anyway?

I recently acquired a very pretty 3RENSHO from a list member (thanks! You know who you are), the team pearl-blue, with all the cool graphics. Early 80s probably. 57cm c-t. Mixed bag of top-flight components.

It seems to be the non-export model, with beautifully filed long-point-lugs. Oddly, considering how much trouble was taken over the finish, the graphics are not clear-coated! But it appears to be original paint! Very strange.

Anyway, my question is this: how rare is a bike like this, anyway? I don't see 3RENSHOS for sale on ebay, ever (ok, maybe once a year, if that)...and this long-point-lug model seems quite rare. I'm trying to figure out just what I have here.

In the meantime, I'm setting it up to fit me, and it should be a nice rider, unless or until I decide it's slightly big for me..<g>
