Wayne,

Quite true. My writings always fail to capture the total amount of fun that we have when we get together. I cannot stress enough how satisfying it is to ride with a large group of people while on vintage bikes. It's a unique experience; everyone should do their best to be part of riding their collection with others in their area. It so completely finishes out the collecting experience. One really cannot put a price on the comraderie we experience. Most of the funny stuff happens while on wheels anyway, dinners are a distant second. Certainly if one finds themselves in Southern California, do not fail to check to see if we are planning to tear up some local town at that time. Join us on one of our raids.

The rides at Le Cirque are your next BIG chance to see what it's like riding with Pergolizzi. Be forwarned, he informed me recently that his thighs are bigger now than they have ever been in his life. (Must be a sprinter thing, I've never even measured my thighs in my entire life.) Got news for you John, we're all getting bigger, it's called FAT! But John insists it's muscle. Whatever. The stay in CA seems to have given him a head start on his milage, so look out! I'm thinking maybe I should replace the grease in his hubs with epoxy, or tighten the cones a bit while he's not looking to level the playing field.

Don't miss your chance of a lifetime; ride with us at Le Cirque. I promise you memories that will last a lifetime.

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Another day in paradise. (That's for you, John). Are you still counting snowflakes?
