Subject: [CR]Pino Hubs

I have some questions and if they are inappropriate for this list, please let me know. A very good friend of mine has taken a pair of Pino hubs in trade from someone that owed him money. My friend gave them to me to help him list them on Ebay because he knows very little about bikes and he wasn't sure of the value of these hubs. I don't know much about Pino hubs other than I don't think a great many of them were made. Anyone have an idea as to how many were made? I'm told by a listmember that these hubs are unusual because the rear hub is for a freewheel and has 126mm spacing. He had only seen these hubs configured for fixed gear track spacing (120mm). To clarify, these are the Pino hubs where the spoke threads into the hub flange.

So onto my questions- Are these rare? Of course, how do you define rare? These hubs have been used so would it be inappropriate for me to polish them up? What if they are shinier than original? I'd like to help my friend accurately list these so my he doesn't get roasted. Please educate this ignorant framebuilder.
