Subject: [CR]Gnutti splined cranks

I've picked up a set of splined steel Gnutti cranks which seem to be a later TA "cyclotouriste" type of affair rather than the earlier three arm design. These cranks are very plain and quite heavy. I'm guessing that Gnutti made some pretty basic splined cranks and that's what I have.

Can anyone shed some light on this and give me any idea of their manufacturing period? The cranks came with a nice splined bottom bracket spindle. I was going to use them on a 1950s bike but I suspect they're too late and will probably, therefore, end up on Ebay.

Thanks,
Bruce
