Unknown to most, Jeff was at the forefront of the mountain bike movement in the days when you could count the number of off road builders on one hand and built bikes for many folks in the Santa Rosa area. He also built singles, which were sold out of the Bike Pedaler in Santa Rosa.

I haven't kept up with him, but heard the same rumors about his health.
