In the States, the ABLA had Midget boys and girls catagories, as well as Intermediate boy and girl. Don't remember the exact age cutoffs, but midget was for roughly elementary school kids, while intermediate was for middle/early high school. I held an Intermediate licence when I was 14 or so. As I remember, they broke these catagories down further by age groups.
