These are not the "normal Open-C" skewers that are part of FB made hubs from the early 1950s. I've several "open C" skewers and all even the skewers of the ~1950 Paris Roubaix hubs have the inscription "Patent CAMPAGNOLO" with "Vicenza and "Italy" above and below like the inscriptions at the shift levers. http://home.t-online.de/home/dirk.feeken/piem/piem_fhub.jpg These "Vicenza CAMPAGNOLO" skewers on eBay might be from the era before Campagnolo exported anything out of Italy. As usual, if japanese bidders pay breath taking sums they know very well what they bid on.

This must be a record price - $248.50 for a used set of open C levers - = without skewers even! =20

http://ebay.com/<blah>

When you can buy a set of hubs with these levers NOS on eBay for around = $300, this seems an absurd price.
