Bikes, under general category 8712 are dutied at 11%, parts, under general category 8714, are dutied at various rates according to what they are. You can verify the exact rates at: http://dataweb.usitc.gov/scripts/tariff2003.asp and then inserting the category that you want.

By the way, duty is calculated on the declared value or whatever customs deems is fair (whichever is higher!) plus the value of the shipping! Try and negotiate an all-inclusive price as the add-ons can be very expensive as already mentioned. I had to pay more for customs clearance and handling fees in the US than I did to pick up and pack in a container and ship all the way from Italy to the port of Philadelphia. Ouch! You can also only insure the shipment for the declared value.
