ok ok ok, I am starting to pile up on bikes. Yesterday when I was going around thrift stores with my best friend I happened upon a Bianchi Strada road bike. The brakes were threaded all wrong and the pulleys in the rear derailleur were shot so I talked them down 10 dollars.. sigh.. now I'm trying to determine the age, it has a star stamped into it and it's serial # is 2D70406... everything was there except the original seat, it even has the toeclips/straps and the straps are in really nice condition. Well, if anyone can help me with the age it has Simplex Prestige derailleurs (not sure what specific model #) a Carnielli stem and centerpull brakes labeled 'universal' The color is a lime green with brick red decals with white borders for the Bianchi lettering and Strada is white in cursive.
