Subject: [CR]Tubular Tires and Repairing Flats

While we are on the topic of flats. I switched my Peugeot PX-10 commuter/touring bike (complete with fenders, racks, panniers, etc.) to airfree tires. No pump, no patch kit, no tire tools, no flats - ever. I ride through roadside debris that I wouldn't drive my car through without fearing a flat. I ride on dirt and gravel roads. I spend more time enjoying the view then glaring at the road looking to avoid glass and nails. If they make me any slower, I don't feel any slower. I'll keep my tubulars on my "trailer queen" but I'll never go back to pneumatic tires on my commuter/tourer. Airfree/worry free for me.
