What is the best thing to do to an old (70+ years) paint job that is in poor (scrathes, worn areas, etc.) but worth saving condition?
Should I just wash it with a mild soap and leave it clean? Or should I then wax it? If I wax it, what should I do to it in 5 or ten years? Wash it with wax and grease remover and then rewax it?
I have used a wax made by Wenol which seems to put life back into dead paint.
