The Ross Signature 290 was $219 and the 292 was $239 the spring 1985. They were the nicest bikes under $250 and I bought the 292 for my girlfriend. Ishiwata triple butted tubes and baseline Shimano components. They had a very nice finish the 290 was burgandy and the 292 was aqua. I believe Asahi bikes of Taiwan produced these because the had a very simular bike in the Long Beach Bike Show catalog with their name on it. Brian in Berkeley

Warmest Greetings
I picked up a Ross Signature 290 at a yard sale. I am curious about how = much is was when new and where it was in the model line up. It seems to = have a much nicer frame than the parts would warrant.
Thank you.
