Subject: [CR]Caylor Frame

Hey guys,

I recently acquired a Caylor frame and was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about them. It's a Columbus steel frame with nice lugs, most with V shaped cutouts, throughout. I'm guessing it's from the late '70s or so. It has horizontal campy rear dropouts with 120mm spacing, a campy record headset and sugino bottom bracket, brazed-on shifter mounts and metal chain-stay protector. The rear triangle is fairly beefy, with the back-stays coming together tightly behind the seat tube. Bottom bracket is stamped "RGF". Serial No. 9580, for whatever that's worth.

Any information about this bike would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John Prescott
