Saw this on Craig's list SF. (No relation to seller). $50 each seems like a decent deal, no? Not my size though:

Italvega bicycles - vintage - circa 1973 - $50 Reply to: mccam@hotmail.com Date: 2003-08-14, 10:32AM

Two bikes we bought in S.F about 30 years ago. For us, at the time, they cost serious money. Stored in garages for the last 29-3/4 years. Ferrous parts have rust. Seats scuffed, peeling decals, deteriorated rubber, etc. Everything needs serious cleaning. But each bike is complete so far as I can tell and I'm not aware of any broken mechanical parts. Possibly these bikes can be fixed up or at least some of the parts can be reused after some clean-up or other work on them.

The basic front triangles of the two frames measure about 20" (vertical) x 21" (horizontal) x 24" (diagonal).

Italvega Nuovo Record: Green color. Shift levers on diagonal frame tube. Stronglight sprocket & crank, Campagnolo Nuovo Record derailleur, Universal Mod. 61 brakes, Fiamme rims (sew-up), handlebar stem says "t t t" on one side and "Made in Italy" on the other, frame has decal "Columbus 3 tubes reinforces acier special."

Italvega Gran Turismo: Basically the same except derailleur says "Brev. Inter. Campagnolo" & handlebar stem says "Carnielli."

$50 (firm) each bike. $90 (firm) for the pair. Cash only. The sale after your inspection will be as-is.
