Subject: [CR]Garlatti crankset

I was wondering if anybody out there knows what crankset came with a sixties Garlatti bike or if anyone has an old cottered Italian crankset for sale. I'm in the process of restoring the old Garlatti and need a cottered crank to finish it off.

I'm an avid collector, long retired from racing, and now into restoring vintage lightweight bikes. I have several, mostly Italian makes, including a De Rosa, an Atala, a Viner, a Bottechia, a Tomasso, a Pinarello, a Benotto, a Coppi, a seventies Cinelli, a Raleigh International, two Peugeot PX 10's, a Schwinn Voyageur, and a few others. All the Italian bikes have full Campy groupos and I have an ample stock of record, super record and gran sport. I have been a fully certified Campy race mechanic, and enjoy lacing wheels. I also collect old cameras and vintage microscopes. I retired from the navy submarine service a few years ago and presently work as the safety officer for a park and recreation agency. I have a degree in commercial photography, draw cartoons, and get real serious in the field of freshwater biology. My true love, however, is cycling. Since I don't race anymore, I enjoy building bikes from the frame up or restoring a vintage piece. Not to give my age away, but I went to Woodstock (the first), got to meet Hendrix and had a great time.
