John,

Looking through the photos of your 1972 Masi I noticed the caption regarding the fork blades on the bike for sale. Those ARE Reynolds fork blades, just like the decal says. In 1970 and '71 the Masis were a combination of Reynolds main tubes and Columbus forks and stays. In 1972 the bikes are either all Columbus OR all Reynolds. This is an all Reynolds frame and forks. My experience is that there are about an equal number of each. All of the bikes with the "false twin plate" type crown are Reynolds as far as the ones I've seen, which is plenty.
