Hey gang,
I was just browsing Kirk Pacenti's web site and I noticed that he has a
link on the bottom of his "products" page where you can make a donation
via PayPal to help him defray the cost of tooling (molds).

Kirk had to lay out a ton of money to "tool up" to make his fabulous lugs available. He is trying to make his frame building supply business into a full time gig. It occurs to me that perhaps he is struggling...
Kirk has provided the traditional frame building community with a lug
set, crown and bottom bracket that are a virtual blank canvas. If you
don't know what I'm talking about take a look at his "gallery" page.

This project strikes me as more altruism then capitalism. Maybe we should consider "passing the hat" in the interest of keeping the art of lugs alive. Just a thought. Jamie Swan - Northport, N.Y.
