Steve Birmingham was correct that E-Bay only saves sales pages for 90 days or so. Here's a tip for those who purchase an item there. Click the mail icon at the top of the page and send yourself the page. Now you have a permanent record of just what was offered for sale, if you have paid with PayPal, it will also now say that you have done so, and you can forward this to any person in the future. This latter may be handy if you resell the object or have a dispute with the seller. You will also have at least a basic set of photos of the object if they were on the sale page, too. Of course you can delete it in the future if you don't need it.
