I remember that a kid I went to junior high school with circa 1973 had a Jaques Anquetil bicycle. It was more or less the same as a Gitane Interclub of the same era, with Mafac Racer brakes, Simplex Prestige changers, A cottered crank with a hollow BB spindle, tubulars, and carrying a Durifort tubing decal.Kind of neat, but the only one I've ever seen.
