Regarding the Mavic Bottom Brackets that fit into a chamfered BB shell, are there different versions for Italian and British threaded BB's? I understood that the reason for the chamfering is to allow the BB to be located by the adjusting rings bearing against the outside rims of the BB shell, without touching the BB threads.
I ask because I need such a BB, and there's a nice one on auction right now but it's listed as "italian" threaded. Of course the bike I need it for is English.
