Well you're right Paulie in that the 1940s bikes don't harken back to "wish I could afford that" but there are many other reasons for wanting to possess something old. Why in the world would I spend good money on an 1897 Duequesne? Or a 1950 Bianchi Folgorissima like Fausto Coppi won the 1950 Paris-Roubaix on? After all, I'm only 59 years old fur krist's sake :)
Must be something else going on here?
