I have recently encountered a pair of English made quill pedals with a large prominent "W" formed in the quill plate. I have been told that these are Webb pedals and, from photos, they seem to have been popular among top line racing bikes of the 1940s. I have not been able to find any reference to Webb on the CR web site or elsewhere on the net. Does anyone know of Webb, who they were and what components they made over what period?
