My collection is small (maybe a centi-Black or two, where = 1 Black is
defined as a collection approaching 1000 bikes, so riding all of them is
out of the question :-) ).
So, for me, the answer is easy: each bike gets fitted with something appropriate, where possible. The Cinelli has a UnicaNitor #3, and the 65 Paramount has a proper Brooks B-17 (it's pre-Brooks Professional).
Now, if the ride is more than 50 miles, I'll consider cheating for the day, like taking the really tired Swallow off my fixed gear bike in favor of something that will not become the focus of all my thoughts 20 mi. into a ride several times longer.
This is supposed to be fun.
